When AJC dining critic John Kessler's review of the new high-end Buckhead steak and seafood restaurant Ocean Prime posted online last week, there was really nothing controversial about his sans-stars grade of FAIR. Expecting Kessler to rave about a chain restaurant (albeit a "swanky" model) is a bit like expecting a film critic to adore "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen."

After hearing him explain his philosophy on customer service to the newly hired staff in Atlanta, I better understood his confidence. Mitchell recounted the story of how his son was denied a chocolate milkshake at a local restaurant because it didn’t offer them on the menu, and the staff refused to attempt to accommodate the request. He had a personal light bulb moment and decided that his restaurants would service any reasonable customer request.
Ocean Prime Seafood & Steaks to cast its latest line in Buckhead this fall
That constant swirl of construction dust at 3102 Piedmont Road has all but obscured the former site of the late, lamented Sambuca Jazz Cafe in recent weeks.
