Piedmont Park is the closest thing Atlanta has to New York’s famed Central Park, and on a beautiful day you’ll find cartwheeling kids, hand-holding couples, picnicking families, and all manner of joggers, skateboarders, soccer players, and Frisbee throwers. Nestled within the park is the 30-acre Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
