On October 7 Sid and Ann Mashburn will serve as honorary chairs of Atlanta Celebrates Photography’s 12th annual gala. Held at the Porsche Experience Center, the event will include a silent and live auction of works by Parish Kohanim, Builder Levy, and Carl Martin, among others, to support the ACP, the largest annual community-based photo festival in the United States.

It’s no secret Atlanta’s darling design duo Sid and Ann Mashburn have plans to run the world’s go-to lifestyle brand. And this October, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of Sid’s eponymous menswear store, they’re diving in with their first concept shop alongside their flagships at Westside Provisions District.

If Sid Mashburn weren’t a menswear designer, he’d want to be a radio DJ. (Or a professional football player, he’d interject.) Well, now he can check off two out of three. This week, Mashburn debuted his weekly radio show, The Sid Mashburn Radio Hour (WSID), on Atlanta’s AM1690, WMLB.

Like the Ralphs and Tommys before them, the Mashburns have plans to be “the world’s go-to lifestyle brand,” a mini empire selling not just clothes but a way of life—the effortlessly cool personality, the hip playlists, the lessons on how to look put together but not done up—all radiating from their Atlanta headquarters.

This Sunday is Father’s Day, and plenty of Atlanta makers and shop owners offer slick duds for just about any Dad. Just think—shopping local might even be faster than Amazon Prime.
