Michelin darling Grassfed Culture Hospitality—the group behind One Starred and Green Starred Los Félix and Green Starred and Bib Gourmand-awarded Krüs Kitchen in Miami—is bringing its seasonal touch to Atlanta with the launch of Füm. A contemporary Italian restaurant focused on transparency, locality, and natural wines, Füm will open in Stella at Star Metals on the Westside February 14.

Torchy’s Tacos promises “Damn Good” eats on the Westside
Eighteen years ago, Austin, Texas, residents got used to seeing Mike Rypka drive around on a bright red Vespa, passing out taco and salsa samples. He then set up a trailer to sell his homemade fare, and Torchy’s Tacos was born. Now, 126 brick-and-mortar locations later, Torchy’s has entered the Atlanta market with a location in the Star Metals building on the Westside. The first Torchy’s in Georgia, it offers the same “Damn Good” tacos and queso that earned the brand its following in a classy, 4,100-square-foot space with a full bar and patio.
Delbar founder invites Atlantans to Eden, a massive restaurant, speakeasy, and rooftop bar coming to Star Metals
Fares Kargar describes Eden as dark and moody with different vibes and offerings in each area. It’s inspired by pre-revolution Iran with European influences. A DJ will play nightly—their stage visible from nearly everywhere in the restaurant. Cocktails will play a large role, with 20 options in the dining room, another six or seven in the speakeasy, and 12 more on the roof. Some will include Iranian-style ingredients, such as cardamom and pistachios. Expect Old World and Mediterranean wines.
Brush Sushi and Momonoki owner-chef Jason Liang to open Lucky Star on the Westside
Chef Jason Liang, the culinary mastermind behind Brush Sushi, Cuddlefish, Momonoki, and Momo Café, is adding another Asian-inspired restaurant to his ever-growing list. Lucky Star will open in January or February 2024 with two distinct spaces: a casual café and bar in the Star Metals lobby and a reservation-only back-room bar serving elevated cocktails designed by Kirk Gibson (the Giving Kitchen).
