The latest in a series of Buckhead hotel restaurants to open (following Dirty Rascal in the Thompson Buckhead and the Betty in the Kimpton Sylvan), the Americano is now serving dinner nightly in the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta. Led by celebrity chef Scott Conant—known for his Food Network appearances and two James Beard Awards—the Americano is a modern Italian steakhouse.

Two-time James Beard Award­­–winning chef Scott Conant will open an Italian steakhouse in Buckhead in April. The Americano, will be located in the former Southern Art space at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta and marks the Chopped judge’s first restaurant in the South.

At 9,000 square feet, the new Little Alley Steak on Lenox Road in Buckhead is three times the size of the original in Roswell. And for the first time, the restaurant will offer lunch service.

While a 30 oz porterhouse costs $142, Fry listed off a few tactics that, he says, many steakhouses use to cushion their margins
