Miami is rife with winter art fairs, which draw hundreds of galleries and nearly 80,000 visitors each December to Art Basel, Context, Pulse, Design Miami, and Scope. Interior designer Tim Hobby of Hobby Astrop Modern attends as many as he can—here, he shares what’s on his radar this year.

Interior designer Tim Hobby has admired this contemporary stunner in his Ansley Park neighborhood since before it was completed in 2014. Set on a half-acre lot that was previously home to an apartment building, the house was designed by the cutting-edge architecture team Cara Cummins and Jose Tavel of TaC Studios.

Tim Hobby is back in the furniture business. The veteran Atlanta designer and former retailer has opened a Minotti showroom at ADAC (suite 317). His business partner, Jennifer Astrop, had most recently been independently representing modern furniture lines. Now the two have joined forces and dubbed their new venture Hobby Astrop Modern.
