On Thursday, October 6, Atlanta Magazine’s Whiskey Festival, sponsored by Your Atlanta Area BMW Centers, returned for its seventh year. We returned to the Atlanta Westside at Guardian Works at Echo Street West, a 19-acre development along the new Westside Beltline. The renovated 1908 brick and beam building features 8,000 SF of double-height conditioned interior event space, 4,000 SF of covered patio space which spills into a 10,000 SF courtyard. This year’s event expanded into all three of these areas.
More than 600 guests enjoyed whiskey samplings from a wide array of top-shelf whiskeys from bourbons to tequila and rum. In addition to sampling the finest whiskeys, our guests had the opportunity to meet and talk to master distillers, spirits ambassadors, and the owners of some of the most talked about whiskeys—including top shelf standbys and the newest up and comers generating a lot of buzz.
Our long-term partnership with Talk of The Town Catering & Special Events continued at this year’s Whiskey Festival. Talk of The Town offered a host of favorites designed to pair with the whiskey tastings. Additionally, guests were entertained with live music and a host of activities, including cigar rolling, that complemented their experience. Roche Bobois was back to sponsor this year’s green screen station.
