Saks has long been the leading lady of Phipps, and she was due for an overhaul. During the past year or so, the department store has opened new designer boutiques (Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen), renovated its shoe floor (adding Dior and Malone Souliers), and expanded its contemporary offerings (now find T by Alexander Wang, Helmut Lang, and a full range from Rag & Bone).
