Greg J. Mackay, MD

Dr. Greg Mackay is a double-board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face and body. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, he received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Mackay also completed his general surgery and plastic surgery training at Emory University and fellowship training in cosmetic and reconstructive craniofacial surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Mackay has authored numerous articles and book chapters about plastic surgery, lectured nationally and internationally, and been a visiting professor at the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery and the Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Additionally,
Dr. Mackay was selected as one of “America’s Top Plastic Surgeons” by U.S. News & World Report, a “Top Doctor” by Castle Connolly, and is listed as an “Extraordinary Pediatric Plastic Surgeon” by Parents magazine.

Formerly a full-time faculty member at the Mayo Clinic and Emory University, Dr. Mackay is a founding partner of Atlanta Plastic & Reconstructive Specialists. The practice consists of Dr. Mackay and partners Dr. Bahair Ghazi, Dr. John Symbas, and Dr. Eugenia “Jinnie” Page.
