Camaraderie Through the Cancer Journey at Cancer Treatment Centers of America
The camaraderie built from a shared cancer experience can be tremendously helpful when making treatment decisions and finding strength during a cancer journey. Cancer Fighters was founded in 1990 by a group of CancerTreatment Centers of America (CTCA) patients seeking a
way to tap into the experience, knowledge, and inspiration of other cancer patients and caregivers across the country. There is a nationwide community more than 42,000 strong, with a local group at CTCA Metro Atlanta ready to encourage, engage, and empower new and current patients. CTCA Metro Atlanta features a beautiful, multipurpose “Cancer Fighters Corner,” a room dedicated to nurturing patients.
