Atlanta is home to many historic churches and sacred places, but here are a couple worth a drive OTP: Opened in 2007, BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is the largest Hindu temple in the U.S. The mandir is open to visitors, and a self-guided audio tour is available for $5. The public is welcome to join the monks at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers for Mass, midday prayers, or vespers. There’s also a visitors center with a museum, a religious gift shop, and an extensive bonsai nursery.
