Cain leads poll in S.C.

Herman Cain tops Mitt Romney in a new South Carolina poll, according to The State.  Gina Smith reports today:

Cain does better than Romney among tea party supporters, who make up 45 percent of the state’s likely GOP voters; conservatives, who account for 50 percent of likely voters; and evangelical Christians, who account for 40 percent. Those three groups say they prefer Cain by 41 percent, 32 percent and 30 percent, respectively.
