Victory! As of last spring, local breweries can sell beer directly to customers.
That new Georgia beer law covers distilleries, too. So what do distillers think about it?
Under a new Georgia law that goes into effect July 1, craft brewers and distillers will be able to sell directly to consumers, after a fashion. They will be able to package take-home "souvenirs" with tours—the equivalent of a six pack or a 750ml bottle of booze.
