WHAT’S NEW Woodward Academy has several new courses, including philarmonia, a collaborative orchestra and strings upper school performing arts course; an upper school
fiber arts course; Freshman Focus, a year-long course to facilitate a seamless adjustment to the first year of high school; and a nine-week middle school STEM course where students solve real-word problems. Also new are Eaglesphere at Woodward North, a space designed to accommodate multiple STEM/STEAM-based programs and activities and Makerspaces, with opportunities for tinkering, printmaking, and building interest in STEAM.
