Maybe you’re too tired to haul a turkey from the store and into your oven, or you don’t want to dirty the kitchen before Black Friday. Either way, you have choices this coming Thanksgiving. Below are seven restaurants that will be open on Thursday, November 28. Reservations are likely essential, but at least highly recommended.

The Shed at Glenwood
Ormewood Park

Sample menu items include: Gum Creek farm ham, smoked organic turkey breast, fried Springer Mountain chicken, sweet potato soufflé, jalapeno grits, zucchini and squash casserole. For dessert, oatmeal and cranberry whoopie pies, bourbon roasted banana pudding, 7-Up pound cake with lemon glaze.

Seatings will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cost is $50 for adults and $20 for children 4-10 years old, excluding tax and gratuity.

South City Kitchen Midtown / South City Kitchen Vinings

Special three-course menu includes one appetizer, entree, and dessert. Starters include fried green tomatoes with goat cheese and sweet red pepper coulis, housemade pimento cheese with toasted corn crackers, butter pickles, and celery hearts. Main courses include roasted turkey breast with giblet gravy, cornbread dressing, collard greens, whipped potatoes and orange-cranberry sauce or buttermilk fried chicken with garlic sautéed collards, smashed bliss potatoes and honey-thyme jus. Dessert includes caramel pumpkin cake, Southern chocolate pecan pie and warm apple cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream.

Seatings will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Midtown location and 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Vinings location. Cost is $45 for adults and $22.50 for children 12 and under, excluding tax and gratuity.

Livingston Restaurant Bar
Midtown

Serving a duo of hot and cold buffets items, including savory Thanksgiving favorites, a dessert display, and carving stations featuring slow-roasted turkey breast and brown sugar-glazed ham. Full menu available here.

Seatings will take place from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $50 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. Complimentary for children under 3.

Cibo E Beve
Sandy Springs

Guests will enjoy all appetizers, have their choice of one meat, four sides, and a dessert. Plates will be served family style. Sample dishes include African squash soup, free range turkey, fall cider glazed ham, brisket, chestnut-brioche stuffing, green bean casserole, pumpkin panna cotta, gingerbread ice cream, and apple tartlet with cinnamon streusel and fresh Chantilly cream. Sample menu items (served family-style) include pimento cheese, deviled eggs, mac and cheese, truffled cream corn, cider and maple roasted brussel sprouts, sage, apple and honey roasted turkey, and Niman Ranch pork loin ham with hammhock jus. Full menu available here.

Reservations are required. Seatings will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cost is $44 for adults and $20 for kids 5-12 are, excluding tax and gratuity. For those dining alone, enjoy a plate at the bar for $25.

Chicken and the Egg
Marietta

Serving a meat-and-three menu plus dessert. Choices of meat include either roasted turkey with cornbread dressing or glazed ham. Side items include mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and green bean casserole. For dessert, pecan pie, pumpkin pie or apple cobbler. Atkins Park Restaurant & Bar

Seating starts at 4 p.m. Cost is $28 for adults, $18 for young adults ages 11 to 16, and $10 for children 10 and under, excluding tax and gratuity.
