NCR has moved 1,700 employees from various metro-area offices into its new headquarters in Midtown. Citing transit and proximity to Atlanta’s universities, NCR hopes the campus will become the focal point of Atlanta’s “Silicon Valley of the East.” In its public areas, there’s a coffee shop and event space for industry gatherings. The building also achieved LEED Platinum Core and Shell certification, making it one of the most environmentally sustainable projects to rise this year.
