BeltLine Lantern Parade
Whimsy and urban revitalization wonkery converge at this annual kickoff to Art on the Atlanta BeltLine. Hosted by the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons, the parade features hundreds of giant puppets, light sculptures, lanterns and glow sticks, and thousands of cheering spectators along its route. More than 10,000 people came out for the 2013 parade, which traveled the entire length of the Eastside Trail.
