When Swiss retailer Zola Dias decided to open a U.S. outpost of his men’s clothing boutique, Attom, he was wavering between New York and Atlanta. But a serendipitous meeting at Lenox Square with Atlanta Hawks forward Thabo Sefolosha and his wife, Bertille, sealed the deal. Thabo and Dias connected over their shared interest in fashion and their home country; in fact, Thabo is the first Swiss national to play in the NBA. He and Bertille, a former model born in Cameroon, partnered with Dias to open Attom at the Shops Buckhead Atlanta this summer. Attom stocks high-end, avant-garde menswear, including many labels and items that are hard to find or new to Atlanta, like Balenciaga sneaks, Maison Margiela bombers, and Balmain jeans. —Feifei Sun
