The pale blush-colored velvet drapes are about as much color as you’ll get out of husband-and-wife design team Meghan and Patrick Sharp. “We try to evolve into color, but we always end up neutral,” says Patrick. “If we’re thumbing through a magazine or looking at Pinterest, we’re always going to pause longer for the all-white buildings.”
No reason to fight it, then. Mister + Mrs Sharp have become known for their work in neutrals, and their clean, minimal style is epitomized by their contemporary home at Serenbe. “We enjoy being at home, so we want it to feel calm and serene,” says Meghan.
As for the living room and hallway they designed: “We imagined Holly Golightly might be coming to your house at six in the evening,” says Meghan. Multiple seating areas, a central table, and loads of books make the living room feel more like a library with a bar. “This is an adult pad.”
