Christmas is coming, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” is No. 1 on the Billboard chart (25 years after it was first released!), and by now, you’re probably just a little sick of hearing it and the other holiday standards that have been piped through mall speakers 24/7 since before Thanksgiving. (No disrespect to Ms. Carey; “All I Want for Christmas is You” is a masterpiece.)
