You know you’re an Atlantan when…
- You try not to get too emotionally attached to your hometown sports teams
- You know that six o’clock means it’s time for Greg Street to rock
- It’s spring and somehow your car got a fresh coat of yellow paint over night
- You’ve cut off relations with anyone who says “Hotlanta”
We want to hear from you: what makes you an Atlantan? What are the experiences—besides getting stuck for hours on the downtown Connector—that bind us together as a city? What are some of the things that only Atlantans, whether they’ve lived here 2 months or 20 years, whether Grady Babies or newcomers, can understand? Your answer(s) can be funny, serious, whatever strikes you (and, yes, they can be about traffic).
Submit your response(s) below by November 13. We’ll feature our favorites in a future issue of the magazine.
