This academic year, the Whitefield Academy plans to expand study options for its upper school students with the introduction of January Term, or J-Term, an intensive week of interest-focused study in January that includes opportunities for international and local travel, service and mission work, and internships. During J-Term, participants receive credit for special projects designed around songwriting, photography, marine biology, writing, the civil rights movement in the South, historical Atlanta, woodworking, Chinese language and culture, and more. whitefieldacademy.com
