When Brian Knott launched the A3C hip-hop festival 15 years ago, he envisioned a few days of concerts featuring independent artists. Today, the five-day event is one of the largest hip-hop festivals in the country, a summit where politics and social justice intersect with hip-hop.
Now in its third year, the Art of Metanoia highlights underground artists and fuses the vibes of a concert, art gallery opening, and social mixer all into one.
Mike Walbert has long been contemplating ways to expand and grow the Atlanta music festival and conference, and ahead of this year’s event, scheduled to take place October 8-13, A3C has announced plans to expand the conference to focus on technology in addition to music.
