Dressed to Kill: Peachtree City native Jenae Roseen perfects post-apocalypse chic for The Walking Dead
On a typical workday, Jenae Roseen helps make clothes for zombies—and the people who fight them. As the sole wardrobe ager/dyer for The Walking Dead, she’s tasked with taking dozens of modern-day wardrobes and rendering them post-apocalyptic.

The fashion world descends on SCAD’s Atlanta, Savannah, and Hong Kong campuses this week for the 12th annual SCADstyle. The weeklong series of lectures and conversations (chaired by Imran Amed, founder of fashion news site Business of Fashion) brings together glossy magazine editors, A-List fashion and interior designers, and industry insiders. And you don’t have to be a student to mingle with the crowd; all events are open to the public, and most are free.
After 35 years of success, Herrera gets her first-ever retrospective, Refined Irreverence, opening today with two complementary exhibitions at SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film Atlanta and at the SCAD Museum of Art in Savannah.
This week, Atlanta welcomes some big-name fashion and design visionaries. Today through Thursday, SCAD will host the 11th annual SCADstyle—a weeklong event of panels, talks, and presentations at the art college’s campuses in Atlanta, Savannah, and Hong Kong. Events are free and open to the public.
Atlanta is landing its own museum to display SCAD’s many fashion exhibitions. Opening in Midtown on October 2, it will include a 10,000-square-foot gallery space, which kicks off with an adaptation of the Oscar de la Renta exhibition we ogled this spring in Savannah.
