Operating under a slogan of “Health, not high,” Edibles.com opened its first retail brick-and-mortar on April 9 in Inman Park. The boutique aims to offer a more approachable entry into hemp-derived products. While low-THC cannabis oil has been legal for use by people with certain medical conditions for the past few years, it's essentially been impossible for those patients to obtain the oil legally. A new law signed by Governor Brian Kemp is set to help change that, but there's still a lot to sort out.

HB1 is perhaps most notable for what it doesn’t do: permit the cultivation of cannabis in Georgia.
