Buckle up for a wild ride around a 1.6-mile circuit designed to mimic a winding country road. At one of only two Porsche Experience Centers in the country (the other is in Los Angeles), you can drive yourself or ride shotgun with a pro driver. The latter (starting at $65 for two laps) was plenty enough of a thrill for us. With the windows down, it’s a multi-sensory rush of burning rubber, squealing tires, and hard turns. The jets passing overhead on their way out of nearby Hartsfield-Jackson have got nothing on you. The Center offers five other driving modules, including an off-road course (are you up for the 45-degree vertical descent challenge?) if you want to hone your handling skills. The facility also features a sleek restaurant, simulator lab, and museum. One thing’s for sure—Porsches have great brakes.
