The Cafe at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead

1270

The nearly extinct, upscale all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch craze of the 1980s lives on at the stately Buckhead Ritz, minus the goofy hats but with all the decadence. Pile your plate with chilled seafood, freshly baked croissants and other pastries, prepared salads, cheese blintzes, roasted potatoes, bacon and sausage, sushi rolls, and parfaits and a dozen other mini desserts. Carving station, hot waffles, and custom-made omelets? Check, check, and check. Speaking of which, the cost is $67 per person ($33 for ages five to twelve), so arrive famished.

ORDER THIS: The omelet station stocks basic additions like ham, green peppers, and onion; retrieve items like smoked scallops, roasted red peppers, and artisan cheeses from other areas and the cook will happily incorporate them.
