HDC’s website offers the gamut of household items, including sofas, mirrors, rugs, seasonal accessories, Martha Stewart home office furniture, bed linens, and bathroom vanities. But the spacious brick-and-mortar store near North Point Mall narrows down the inventory to the most popular items and lets customers sit in chairs or inspect finishes in person.

Savvy Snoot
Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Savvy Snoot continues to offer the most sophisticated consignment shopping in the city. Recent finds include six fiberglass tulip chairs for $1,400 and a pair of boxy Milo Baughman black leather–and–chrome chairs for $3,000 (about half of retail). There are also design services, chic linen curtain panels, original art, and owner Marty Mason’s signature collection of custom furniture. The flagship is in Midtown, with other locations in East Cobb and Alpharetta.
Pieces
This Buckhead favorite, long known for unique modern furnishings, has something new to brag about. It’s one of only five U.S. retailers with accessories by Kelly Wearstler. The famous West Coast designer’s shiny objects—many dipped in gold—are pricey but substantial. A letter opener is $165; a small bowl, about twice that.
