Now in its eighth year, the Atlanta magazine Groundbreaker Awards recognize innovative people and projects. For 2019, our theme is “Environmental Leadership.” We will be focusing on imaginative and effective approaches to preserving Georgia’s environment. We’re looking for nonprofits, institutions, corporations, researchers, advocates, and individuals who are creating new products, launching initiatives, changing work practices, transforming blighted areas, and bringing people together to protect precious natural resources.
The 2019 Groundbreakers will be featured in the November issue of Atlanta magazine and recognized at an awards event that same month.
Nominations will be accepted through August 26.
