As an innovative independent college preparatory high school for teens fourteen to eighteen, Benjamin Franklin Academy provides students with a challenging individualized college preparatory curriculum within a caring community of learners.
BFA features a mastery learning approach and has three program options: work-study, longer day, and ESL (English as a second language). BFA offers twenty-five honors and nineteen AP courses; applied music, art, and drama programs; three sports; and a variety of clubs and activities.

The school works to understand each student’s unique needs, interests, and learning style, developing strategies to meet those needs.
