WHAT’S NEW For the 2016–17 school year, Lovett opened its third iteration of a community makerspace—1,800 square feet dedicated to robotics, including 3-D printing, electronics, and laser cutters. Lab Atlanta, an honors-level academic semester for public and private school 10th graders, will offer its first class in January 2017. Lovett faculty and students worked with a landscape design team to redesign the lower school playground, which was completed in early August. Additional renovations include a new admission suite and an academic resource center.
