Lazeez Tava Fry

Interwoven among Lazeez’s typical Indian-restaurant dishes (samosas, tandoori chicken, vegetable biryani) are Muslim specialties from India’s western state of Gujarat. Granted, stir-fried goat brains with black pepper and tomato may only appeal to the most adventurous appetites, but plenty of other gently spiced, meat-centric novelties hold comforting appeal. Go on the weekend for green gosht, a mesmerizing goat curry pungent with herbs, coconut, and cashews.
