Quinones Room at Bacchanalia

A restaurant engineered for lavishness and currently open only on Saturdays, the hushed Southern Gothic dining room holds eleven tables. It serves a nine-course set menu (no choices, but it changes weekly and includes several bonus noshes) that costs $125 per person—$195 if you opt for wine pairings with seven of the dishes.

It’s important to know that, in its current state, Quinones is essentially a fancier, more elaborate prix-fixe version of its upstairs sibling, Bacchanalia. You’ll find many of the same seasonal dishes, with subtle Southern nods, on the two menus any given night. The service staff’s spot-on professionalism does its best to make up for the restaurant’s lack of individualism.
