Decimal Place Farm

Mary Rigdon, a self-taught cheesemaker, tends a herd of cute white Saanen goats that roam eighteen acres in Conley near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Their milk produces cheeses—soft chèvre, feta, a ricottalike creation called tuma—with an unusually pure, mildly tangy taste. Rigdon sells her cheese at East Atlanta Village Farmers Market on Thursday, Peachtree Road Farmers Market on Saturday, and Grant Park Farmers Market on Sunday, though you can also find it at Decatur’s Rainbow Grocery and as a topping at Farm Burger in Buckhead and Decatur.
