Green Market at Piedmont Park
Take a short stroll into Piedmont Park, stopping at market vendors’ booths set up along the walkway as you go. Hosted by the Piedmont Park Conservancy and sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, the market hosts about 45 Georgia-based vendors selling produce, cheeses, fresh cut flowers, and natural merchandise. The 15 or so farm vendors at the market must follow organic growing practices. Enjoy chefs demos every week at 11 a.m. starting March 30, along with monthly canning workshops as well as the occasional tango or yoga lesson. Live music and kids’ cooking classes begin in May.
