Peachtree City Farmers Market

Set in a mostly shaded, L-shaped parking lot, this midsized market is anchored by some notable southside producers, including Georgia Jams, which uses local fruit in flavors like Summer Berries & Wine and Hot’Lanta Jalapeño, and Scharko Farms, which grows some of the best lima beans and purple hull peas around. Country Gardens Farm sells its grass-fed beef and pastured pork here too. The nonprofit market also operates a community garden on nearby Kelly Drive, where ninety-four eight-by-twenty-foot plots sold out in less than a month last fall.

Parking tip: There’s plenty of space at the host shopping center, Aberdeen Village.
