As chains like WeWork and Industrious become ubiquitous, boutique coworking spaces are popping up all over the city. The buzzword is “community,” and places are drawing like-minded folks from techies to solopreneurs. Soon, two women-focused spots, the Riveter and the Lola, will set up shop here. If you’re looking for a collaborative place to work beyond your local coffee shop, here are a few of our favorites.

Alkaloid Networks
Neighborhood: Old Fourth Ward
Vibe: Imagine your office is a shabby-chic cafe, tucked in a 130-year-old former cotton mill
Who’ll you see: Urbanite CPAs, graphic designers, solopreneurs, even a chiropractor
Cool perks: Fun BeltLine views and terrace, showers on-site, and indoor bike storage

Atlanta Tech Village (ATV)
Neighborhood: Buckhead
Vibe: Lively, lots of glass. Future-forward tech hub
Who’ll you see: B2B and enterprise software startups. Seasoned mentors and potential investors on site
Cool perks: Free weekly lunch (and pitch practice!) for members; swanky rooftop deck

Constellations
Neighborhood: Sweet Auburn
Vibe: Posh boutique hotel: gold hardware, rich navy interiors
Who’ll you see: Civic-minded professionals, social justice groups, nonprofits, and artists
Cool perks: Podcasting studio, free New Orleans chicory coffee, fresh-baked cookies, and author talks in the library

Roam Interactive Workplace
Neighborhood: Buckhead, Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Galleria, and Perimeter Center
Vibe: Warm, organic wood decor with wrought-iron touches and cheery quotes. Like a corporate office, but cooler
Who’ll you see: Baby boomers to Gen Z; small biz owners; and larger firms’ satellite shops
Cool perks: Insta-worthy cappuccinos; access to all five locations with membership; guest passes; themed member goodies (e.g., popcorn bar, popsicle days)

Neighborhood: Howell Station
Vibe: No-nonsense and chill: about 50,000 square feet, much of it open, enlivened with color and whimsical art
Who’ll you see: All types—from sole proprietors to tech firms to indie clothing designers
Cool perks: Bring your dog to work, abundant free parking
Monthly pricing: Day passes $15; private desks from $250

Switchyards Downtown Club
Neighborhood: Downtown
Vibe: Startup-in-an-airy-garage feels, elevated by neon signage and an espresso bar
Who’ll you see: Tribe of consumer and design-focused companies; photographers; multimedia types
Cool perks: Ping-pong; 24/7 access; regular showcases in the 250-seat theater
