Houston’s
Often imitated, never surpassed, this All-American concept defines a genre of casual dining and trains some of the best servers in town. Multiple locations.
Lexie and Jane
Named after Manhattan streets Lexington Avenue and Jane Street, this Buckhead cottage stocks stylish clothing for all occasions, including denim by Genetic and Habitual, dresses by Shoshanna and Joie, shoes by Modern Vintage, and more. Prices may edge above $300 for select dresses and outerwear but stay mostly below $200.
Paul’s
In this atypical casual space, Paul Albrecht (the Paul in Pano’s & Paul’s) tones down some of his fancy ways yet still manages to offer pommes frites, fried lobster tail, and Dover sole to an old-Buckhead clientele that knows and loves him. A small sushi bar has been added to the remodeled restaurant, but from the keyboardist to the manager and the rooftop, everything and everyone will be familiar.
Seven
If you need new duds for Friday night, Seven can hook you up with looks by Christian Audigier, Bejeweled, Mek Jeans, and Salvage.
Versace
Black granite floors and white leather walls suggest sophistication at the newly remodeled boutique, which carries ready-to-wear for men and women, the Versace Home Collection, and a range of accessories.
