MISSION
Ahimsa House, meaning “nonviolence,” has been dedicated to addressing the links between domestic violence and animal abuse since 2004. Ahimsa House provides emergency pet safe-housing, veterinary care, pet-related safety planning, legal advocacy, a 24-hour crisis line, outreach programs, and other services—at no charge and anywhere in Georgia—to help humans and animals reach safety from domestic violence together.
