MISSION
Founded in 2005, Gateway Center’s mission is to connect people experiencing homelessness with the support necessary to become self-sufficient and find a permanent home.
Annually, Gateway Center (GWC) serves more than 7,000 people who are experiencing homelessness. Between our three facilities, GWC provides residential housing for 482 men and five households of women and children. We provide a trauma-informed and client-centered environment, where individuals can receive the tools they need to end their homelessness and achieve self-sufficiency. By linking individuals experiencing homelessness with housing, care coordination, case management, job readiness, soft-skills training, behavioral health services, and medical care, GWC assists them in becoming stably housed, securing employment, sustaining sobriety, and improving health outcomes.
GWC strategically aligns our partnerships and services to our five keys to success: housing placement and stability, health and wellness, job skills training and placement, family and community engagement, and adult and financial literacy.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Gateway Center invites you and your network to join us in our efforts as we strive to make homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring by donating your time, talent, and treasures. Information regarding donations and volunteering at GWC can be found on our website: gatewayctr.org/donate.
