The Turtle Crawl Triathlon and 5K (May 16) marks the beginning of sea turtle nesting season on Jekyll Island.
Savannah Jazz Festival (September 20 to 26)
The Pirate Fest (October 8 to 11 on Tybee Island) features pirate performers, and attendees can dress as a wench or a scalawag too.
