In Fayetteville, 15 miles south of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and just across the street from Pinewood Atlanta Studios, Pinewood Forest is designed as the kind of mixed-use community where “positive collisions” happen among neighbors—and where picturesque streets might serve as the backdrop of a Hollywood blockbuster.

Until just recently I had no clue that Chick-fil-A owns two concept restaurants that serve completely different fare: Truett’s Pizza Cafe and Truett’s Luau. The family-style pizza joint and the Hawaiian-themed establishment (Chick-fil-Aloha, everybody!) are both in Fayetteville, both closed on Sundays, and both late-in-life pet projects of the entrepreneurial company founder.
If you spot an Aston Martin speeding down the wrong side of Peachtree, or if there are sudden runs on martini shakers, don’t be alarmed; James Bond may be in Georgia.
