Dr. Kevin E. Woods is a distinguished gastroenterologist and interventional endoscopist, known for his expertise in the treatment of digestive diseases and the integration of medicine with technology. As a board-certified gastroenterologist with advanced endoscopy fellowship training, he offers a rare and comprehensive array of endoscopic procedures for both benign and malignant digestive conditions.
His approach to patient care is a result of his extensive clinical training at Meharry Medical College, the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Harvard Medical School’s, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health.
In 2015, Dr. Woods established Therapeutic GI Endoscopy & Associates in Atlanta. The practice is renowned for its exceptionally trained and experienced team, cutting-edge endoscopic technologies, and collaborations with City of Hope Atlanta and the Piedmont Clinic.

He continues to lecture widely on the applications of new clinical technologies and raise awareness of the impact of obesity, esophageal cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, and other digestive disorders in our communities.
