Gu’s Bistro on Buford Highway closes

I hope you’re sitting down for this one: early this morning Atlanta’s favorite Sichuan hotspot Gu’s Bistro announced via email that they have officially closed their restaurant on Buford Highway.

“We are looking for a new location for Gu’s Bistro to continue to provide the BEST Chinese experience in Atlanta! Feel free to check the website for updates, and be sure to follow us on Twitter (@gusbistro) and Facebook (fb.com/gusbistroatl). Of course, you can always email us at gusbistro@gmail.com. This is not the end, it is the beginning of something even better!” wrote Yvonne Gu.

The email also encouraged customers to visit their upcoming stall in Krog Street Market (“set to open in the middle of March”).
