Inc. Street Food

Sonoran hot dog (wrapped in bacon), chile relleno stuffed with smoked chicken rice, Chilean-style barbecued octopus with epazote and tomato-herb crema: Inc. Street Food’s staff makes the kind of munchies that will instantly put you in a good mood.

Hicham Azhari and Fikret Kovac of Salt Factory Pub two doors down have hidden the restaurant’s kitchen behind a mock-up of a taco truck to replicate the experience of eating outside in a dining room decorated as a colorful streetscape. You’ll fall in love with the Mexican meatball and garbanzo soup, as well as the pickled vegetable escabèche with crisp chicharrones. The kitchen falters at times (the veal cheek tacos disintegrate, for example), but you’ll enjoy a trippy meal from a crew sincere in its love of Latin food.
