Want to be the star of Flipping Virgins? HGTV host and Atlanta Magazine’s HOME columnist Egypt Sherrod will be shooting a new season in the metro area, and producers are now casting and looking for first-time real estate investors. To qualify, you must:

  •      Be looking for a home to flip in and around Atlanta between May and August of this year
  •      Have never flipped a house before
  •      Have financing in place and be ready to spend (and renovate)
  •      Be available for eight days of filming, staggered over 12 weeks (renovations to be completed in about 30 days)
  •      Be over 21 years of age

In last fall’s issue of HOME, Sherrod shared with our readers some of her advice about purchasing and selling investment properties. What better way to test the waters than with a veteran real estate expert (she authored the NAACP Image Award-nominated book, Keep Calm . . . It’s Just Real Estate) at your side?

Filming begins soon, so apply here online. The producers will only contact pre-selected potential applicants.

Update 8/22/17: Casting has started for season 3 of Flipping Virgins, so if you want to try to make your house-flipping television dreams come true, you can apply here. The same rules as above apply except that you need to be available between now and April 2018 for seven days of filming staggered over seven weeks.
