What are you doing this weekend? April 17-20

Easter eggs, Earth Day, and some very special “bunnies”
1455

You can literally have a “hoppy” holiday this Easter with SweetWater’s annual beer shebang or celebrate the old fashioned way with one of the city’s many egg hunts. Plus, a way to give back to the planet and travel back in time.

SweetWater 420 Fest
The hometown brewer celebrates its tenth annual festival with a move to a big venue: Centennial Olympic Park. Come for the craft beer, bands, artists, and food. Stay for the cutthroat cornhole competition. (We’re not kidding; it’s ruthless.) Friday through Sunday. sweetwater420fest.com

Eggstravaganza
Callanwolde’s annual egg hunt features a bake sale, arts and crafts, and, of course, the Bunny himself. Keep an eye out for the three golden eggs, which can be exchanged for prizes. Saturday 10 a.m. callenwolde.org

Naughty Egg Hunt and Family Easter Egg Hunt
Serenbe Playhouse hosts an entirely different type of Easter “bunnies” during its inaugural 21-and-over event, featuring games, prizes, and intriguingly, carrot juice cocktails. The theater hosts a polar opposite event the following morning—a kids’ egg hunt with the ever-wholesome Dorothy and Toto. Naughty: Friday, 8 p.m.; Family: Saturday, 11:30 a.m. serenbeplayhouse.com

Hop in the Park
If you’re exhausted by egg hunts, try this Atlantic Station Easter alternative, which features games and activities for kids with no extra candy/ultra-breakable plastic eggs to haul home. Saturday, 1 p.m. atlanticstation.com

Earth Day on the BeltLine
Yes, the bamboo along BeltLine’s Northeast Hiking Trail looks pretty, but it’s also invasive, which is bad news for natural ecosystems. Help clear it out just in time for our planet’s holiday. Saturday, 8:30 a.m. beltline.org

Georgia Renaissance Festival
History buffs debate why the festival has so many medieval-themed activities. The rest of us wonder what makes those New World turkey “legges” appealing. Ren Fest returns with a new show, Sirena!—a mashup of undersea sirens and drumming. Because, why not? Saturday through June 8. garenfest.com

Spring Fling with Wild Things
A tour of the Fox Theatre alone is an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with your kid. But a tour that also features animals from the Atlanta Zoo’s Zoomobile? Sign us up. Saturdays through May 17. foxtheatre.org
