Fans of Guy Fieri from any of his four shows on the Food Network—Guy’s Big Bite, Guy Off the Hook, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, or Ultimate Recipe Showdown—should already be familiar with the host’s laid-back style. (And people somehow unfamiliar with his past work should catch the hint with just one look at his spiked, bleached ’do and bowling-inspired duds.) Either way, Atlantans are gonna get a large helping of his devil-may-care attitude when the Guy Fieri Roadshow rolls into town this Monday, November 23, at 8 p.m. at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
Fieri promises to mix music and food at his two-hour show, including interactive cooking stations, demonstrations, and behind-the-scenes stories from his time as one of the nation’s top culinary road warriors. For an opening act, Australia’s Hayden “Woody” Wood will showcase his pouring skills. Plus, each tour stop will feature a celebrated local chef (I’ll bet you the price of a ticket that ours is Top Chef fave Kevin Gillespie—unless if there’s some sort of Food Network–Bravo hostility). Entrance’ll cost you $18.
