There’s a new diner in town and it’s serving a concise menu of homemade items inspired by the seasons. Called Little Five Points Diner, it’s located in the space originally home to Fellini’s, more recently Moonlight Pizza (422 Seminole Avenue). Created by Sean and Amber Germain, the husband-and-wife team behind Sean’s Harvest Market, Little Five Diner serves breakfast and lunch items all day, as well as blue plate specials.

“It’s a classic Southern diner with a compressed menu, so not a book menu. Everything is scratch made daily,” Sean Germain says.

There is minimal overlap among the offerings at Sean’s and Little Five Points Diner. However, Amber biscuit sandwiches will be available at both. Other menu items include pancakes with crispy, golden edges, lemon pepper chicken, and a double-stack cheeseburger. Pair them with fresh-squeezed orange juice, drip coffee, or a milkshake. Alcohol is not available.

“We want it to be affordable, approachable, and chef driven,” says Sean, who develops the menu with Amber.

The 56-seat space features red-and-black checkered floor, red booths, and black chairs. Artist Yoyo Ferro covered the walls with murals and framed paintings. The exterior is eye-catching with yellow painted brick and big windows.

“It has a real energy to it,” Sean says.
