I’m on the hunt for outstanding sandwich spots of all types around the metro area—any favorites worth shouting out? I make frequent treks to Muss & Turner’s in Smyrna, and I’ve been enjoying Noon Midtown (which I saw on Twitter is opening for dinner service soon, good news for local residents), but I’d love more suggestions.
These are a couple sandwiches from Sun In My Belly in Kirkwood—an herbed grilled chicken (with bacon and avocado added: “fat equals flavor” is the motto I live by) and a variation on a tomato-mozzarella number (with curried vegetable soup):
Gotta say, though, the standout at Sun In My Belly is the tangy, subtly spicy pimento cheese, which is available in sandwich form.
